Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a series of FREE fine arts workshops! In this series, participants will learn how to draw over the course of 8 guided sessions. Our professional teaching artist, Professor Joshua Newth, will teach participants everything they need to know to master this art form. When the series is finished, we will celebrate with a showcase of the art created.

To register, participants must be aged 55+ and be able to attend sessions in person. Registration is required and space is limited. Registering for the first date will automatically enroll you for all sessions. The Adventures in Drawing Exhibit will be held on Saturday, July 27th and will be open to the public.

Advancing Creative Aging Through State Library Leadership Initiative is a joint initiative of Califa Group, Wyoming State Library, Missouri State Library, and Lifetime Arts. It was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Grant.
