Join us for a special presentation by poet Robert Lowes. Listen to original poems by this Southeast Missouri native and Jackson High School graduate, who has published two poetry books since 2020. The poetry reading will be followed by an open Q&A session, and an opportunity to purchase an autographed copy of his books.

Robert Lowes is the author of two collections of poetry: Shocking the Dark (Kelsay Books, 2024), and An Honest Hunger (Resource Publications, 2020). His poems have appeared in journals such as The New Republic, December, Tampa Review, Big Muddy, Delta Poetry Review, The Christian Century, Southern Poetry Review, Modern Haiku, and The Journal of the American Medical Association. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
