Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a special series on healthy nutrition and exercise. This series is led by Nutrition Program Associate, Mandie Sullivan from the University of Missouri Extension Services.

Learn hands-on techniques for making easy, healthy, and delicious meals during the class and then take home the recipe to make for your family! During this series, we will also learn about easy exercises you can do at home, how to save money while eating healthy, and information on the MyPlate categories.

In this series, each session will build on the previous sessions. Participants who pledge a good faith effort to attend all lessons, are eligible to request one small kitchen appliance item, to receive upon completion of the program. The items to choose from include:

  • Air Fryer
  • Blender
  • Crock pot
  • Food Processor
  • Insta Pot
  • Pots & pans
  • Small microwave
  • Toaster oven

Registration for this event is required. You only need to register for the first session to be included in all of the dates. Please only register if you can attend most of the sessions, as space is limited.
