Happy Valentine's Day! Most people think of today as a day of romance, but there are many other things to love and we want to celebrate them! This year, we asked our youngest patrons to tell us what they love, and we got a wide variety of answers.
Some of our favorites include:
-
“Franch bull dogs and the Library”,
-
“My Hool Family”,
-
“The Titanic”,
and of course,
- “Reading!”
Here at the library we love our patrons, we love cardigans, and we love these books about Valentine’s Day! Come to the library to check them out and tell us what you love!
Valentine’s Day by Anne F. Rockwell
For Valentine's Day everyone is making valentines to send to Michiko in Japan. Eveline decorates her card with gold glitter glue. Pablo draws a picture of a happy fish. Jessica writes a poem. The kids in Mrs. Madoff's class remember all the things they liked to do with their friend Michiko, even though she's thousands of miles away now. There are over 200 hearts in this book. See if you can find them all!
