April showers might bring May flowers, but check out what else April has in store for us here at the Cape Girardeau Public Library! It’s a new season and with it brings many new programs, materials, ideas, and services to our library just waiting for you to come and explore.
A good spring rain can be so refreshing! And though it means we can’t go outside and enjoy the warmer temperatures that spring brings in preparation for summer, it does mean we have the perfect excuse to stay inside, wrap ourselves in a soft blanket, and curl up with a good book and a mug of tea and listen to the rain against the windows. Relaxing, right?
Don’t really like reading? That’s perfectly fine too! You can check out one of our many DVDs (Anyone else need to catch up on Yellowstone? No? Just me?), a board game to play with the family (we have Sheriff of Nottingham), or our crochet kit from our Library of Things.
Spring is the perfect time to refresh those New Year's resolutions or to simply start over fresh. It’s a time of new growth and new beginnings. What better place to begin something new than at the library? So spring on by and check out the new things happening at CGPL!
