Feed Your Wanderlust

When I think of “adventure,” the first thing that comes to mind is travel. This summer we are offering a number of FREE travel-themed programs for adults, as well as some on-going travel-themed activities that you can enjoy throughout the summer.

Fall Local Author Fair

With cooler evening temperatures and hazy, cloudy days ahead, you know that fall is right around the corner. Along with the changing of the leaves and the arrival of all things pumpkin-spice, comes our annual Fall Local Author Fair!

Back to Reality!

Roll for Initiative!

Have you ever wanted to play an instrument in a flawless performance? Or maybe try your hand at picking a lock on a treasure chest? Or even practice magic? Just come to the library!

You Are Cordially Invited...

...to the Cape Girardeau Public Library’s High Tea Party! This event marks our summer reading kick-off and is just the first of many exciting programs happening here at the library this summer!

Birds of a Feather: The Great Backyard Bird Count

If you are a follower of the library or a parent of a child who frequents the library, you might have already seen one or two programs that involve birds (i.e. Every Child Ready to Read: The Great Backyard Bird Count on Feb. 11th).
