Happy August, readers! Summer Reading might be over and done with for another year, but here at the Cape Girardeau Public Library, we offer a thousand different ways, reasons, and excuses to keep the reading flowing and going. For example, did you know that August is Romance Awareness Month? That’s right, February isn’t the only month that gets to boast about love, romance, and heart-shaped eyes. And though one of this holiday’s points is to bring back more intention into relationships, you don’t have to have a romantic partner to enjoy romance! Reading romance books is a great way to participate and celebrate the month!
